I like to buy soy beans when the opportunity comes, because the price drop is only due to a good harvesting season. I also see how people are investing in palm oil, the competitor of soy bean oil. We had a 85% premium buyout of one palm oil producer: New Britain Palm Oil. I’m heavily in Sipef now as it is a cheap alternative to the palm oil producers.

Charles Nenner updates on gold

If you recall Charles Nenner, who predicts $2000/ounce gold at the end of this year, here’s another update.

He says the gold price has bottomed. He is out of stocks and in cash.

If his prediction is right, we need to see a huge increase in gold price in this quarter.

Charles Nenner predicts $2000 gold in 2014

Charles Nenner predicts that we will see a gold price higher than $2000/ounce in 2014. I am very sceptical about this call, to say the least… He is also completely out of stocks and says the U.S. dollar is going to collapse at the end of 2014. Hyperinflation will come around 2016.
